The project spans 6800 acres and will consist of 55 Vestas V-90 1.8 MW turbines.

White has installed over 4,000 megawatts of wind power across North America and this will be the fifth wind project constructed by White in the province of Ontario. “HB White is pleased to be a part of the East Lake St Clair project with GDF Suez. White expanded operations in Canada and opened an office in Ontario in 2005 to support the growing construction demands for renewable power projects in Canada. As the EPC contractor, H.B. White Canada Corp. will self-perform the construction of all access roads as well as modifications to existing public roads, design and build all foundations, collection systems and erection of the wind turbines.
