The Fowler Ridge Wind Farm was the largest utility-scale wind project built in the state of Indiana to date.  The project spans 50,000 acres and was built in just 9 months despite construction crews working throughout the worst winter and spring weather conditions in more than 80 years in the state of Indiana.  The project utilizes 182 Vestas V82 1.65-MW turbines as well as 40 Clipper C96 2.5-MW turbines.  The 400 MW energy facility now produces enough electricity to power over 118,378 homes annually.
