Safety Powers Success

At IEA, safety is non-negotiable. Along with quality, it is the primary consideration for every project. We believe strict adherence to safety practices is essential in protecting what is literally the very life-blood of our company – our employees. It is our goal that, at the end of each workday, everyone goes home safely to their loved ones. We recognize that there are many hazards inherent in the construction industry and for that reason we prioritize investing in safety equipment and ongoing training for all employees.

An accident-free work environment is also more profitable for the contractor, and therefore a win-win situation for everyone to take the time to participate and invest in safer work practices. At IEA all employees and subcontractors are expected to adhere to the provisions set forth in our health and safety program, which is set up to also comply with the Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA). Additionally, employees are encouraged to not only report all unsafe acts and conditions but to actively participate in creating safe solutions through an awards and recognition program.
