Auwahi Wind
The Auwahi Wind Project produces enough electricity to power 14,500 homes annually with its eight Siemens 3.0 MW turbines. Overall, the project reduces greenhouse gas emissions by about 60,500 tons annually, which is the equivalent of taking approximately 12,500 cars off the road. During peak construction, Auwahi created 180 construction jobs and seven full-time positions.
