St. Joseph Solar Farm
White Construction completed the construction of a 20 MWAC solar facility in St. Joseph County, Indiana. The St. Joseph Solar Farm is Indiana Michigan Power’s (I&M) largest solar generating facility, and was constructed in collaboration with the University of Notre Dame. White Construction self-performed the entire project including design, procurement, construction and commissioning of the facility. In addition, White constructed all of the access roads, fencing, foundations, electrical collection and trackers. Built on 210 acres of land, this new facility includes approximately 57,720 First Solar panels, which provide enough energy to power 2,700 homes annually.
