Meet 2019 Summer Intern Connor Bruns

"I thought I would go design structures. Construction was always there, but I didn't know whether it was going to be an option for me. Coming here has made me realize I do want to become a construction manager," says Clemson University student Connor Bruns after spending his summer in Woodsboro, Texas, at the Peyton Creek wind project. Feeling like he "hadn't really left home," Bruns attributes his experience to the family-like atmosphere of IEA, adding that IEA Project Manager Ron Ritter was "almost like a dad."
