Sticking Around: Bryan Fraysier
Every hard hat tells a story. Or, if you’re Bryan Fraysier, “it’s a resume, so to speak.”
Our Sticking Around series features our tenured employees in the field and after years of dedicated work, hard hats are physical reminders of the projects and hard work someone has put into their job.
Bryan Fraysier, a Senior Construction Manager for IEA Constructors, is no exception.
Fraysier and his hard hat are nearly inseparable. He puts it on the second he gets out of his truck in the morning- it stays on until he gets back into his truck at night. While safety is a clear priority, Fraysier’s reasons for keeping his hard hat on extend beyond PPE requirements.
“It becomes part of your personality. I can look at every sticker on this, even the ones that you can’t tell what they are anymore, but they all have some symbolism,” Fraysier said. “It's a little reminder of each job that you take with you after each project is completed.”
Fraysier has worked for IEA Constructors for over four years, "and it all started with a phone call to Chris Hanson." He values the team atmosphere at IEA and says he witnessed it even before his official start date.
Fraysier is proud to be a part of the IEA family and continues to cover and recover the surface area of his hard hat. He looks forward to the future and is proud to be a part of the renewable energy industry.
“Fossil fuels are only going to take us so far. They’ll run out, but wind will be here forever and that's extremely fulfilling,” he said.
Thank you, Bryan, for your dedication to hard work and fantastic perspective!
