IEA raises over $400,000 for St. Jude Fundraiser
Employees throughout the nation join the fight in finding a cure for childhood cancer.
Across the nation, the IEA Family of companies have rallied together in support of St. Jude and their mission to transform the lives of families and children in seemingly hopeless places.
In partnering with St. Jude throughout this fundraiser, it has been clear that their cause is one that resonates deeply with our family of companies. The stories of successful treatment continue to inspire employees company-wide. We've recently covered the final results of the fundraiser, but these numbers don't compare to the impact that we made as a collective whole.
Completely surpassing an initial goal $225,000, as a company we have raised $406,030. This is a huge accomplishment, and we know will be greatly appreciated by the families of St. Jude.
This was truly an all-around team effort! On the National team level, IEA placed third on the board.
The community engagement during this fundraiser also did not go unnoticed. The representation we had at our local run/walk events throughout the country, allowed four of our teams to place in the top three at the local level for fundraising.
We had 26 teams across the nation register and 178 individual registrations for the St. Jude fundraiser. Many more made personal donations to help support the cause.
On top of everything, we raised enough funds to cover a single patient's total treatment plan!
This effort was a true company-wide endeavor and our success wouldn't have been possible without the support of our employees, customers and vendors.
The impact of this event is life-changing for patients and the generosity shown throughout this fundraiser has been incredible. Thank you to everyone who contributed and made this possible for the families of St. Jude.
